Blog Post : JAWS Week
JAWS Week | erica.frankel | Dec 6, 2012
I spent much of last week in the woods of New Jersey (there are woods in New Jersey!) for International Programs Group Leader Training with the American Jewish World Service (AJWS). I am excited to bring a group of NYU students on an AJWS Alternative Break program to Nicaragua in January, and this training was designed -- in part -- to help campus professionals like me better understand the work of AJWS, their curriculum for their programs, and what NYU students might take away from their service-learning experience.
We can't wait to share our adventure with you upon our return.
Meanwhile, I think it's hilarious that AJWS auto-corrects to JAWS on my iPhone. Instead of Shark Week, I'm calling last week's experience "JAWS Week." And on that note, please enjoy this hilarious PSA not approved by AJWS.
