The End of Middle East Stability: Featuring Ambassador Gideon Meir
Sunday, November 17, 2013 - 8:00pm

Bronfman Center, 2nd Floor

The 1979 Egypt-Israel Peace Treaty has always been the linchpin of Middle East stability, but mass upheaval in both Egypt and the greater Arab world may cause this status quo to fall apart. TorchPAC is hosting Ambassador Gideon Meir, one of the chief architects of the Egypt-Israel Peace Treaty, who will speak about the future of a region engulfed in genocide, civil war, and tyranny.

Ambassador Meir served as Israel's Ambassador to Italy from 2006-2011. He is the current Director of the Foreign Ministry's Public Affairs Directorate, and is one of the most widely respected analysts of the Middle East.
