Lt. Aharon Karov Comes to NYU

Lt. Aharon Karov Comes to NYU
Thursday, October 31, 2013 - 8:00pm

Bronfman Center, 5th Floor

In 2009, during Operation Cast Lead, Lt. Aharon Karov was called to duty in Gaza. It was the morning after his wedding. On the third day in Gaza, Lt. Karov was critically wounded by an explosion in a booby-trapped house. The house collapsed on him, seriously injuring his head, face and chest. He was riddled with shrapnel. The doctors did not give him much time to live.
Yet today, Lt. Aharon Karov has come to New York to run the ING marathon. He has made huge progress and is (clearly!) in terrific physical shape.
The One Family Fund, an organization which provides support for Israeli victims of terror and their loved ones, is bringing Lt. Karov to different campuses in the New York area, to share his story.
Please join us at The Bronfman Center on Thursday, 31 October, as we greet Lt. Karov, and hear his words of inspiration.

Please note: Lt. Karov will be speaking in Hebrew, and their will be an English translator.
