Making Sacrifices

Making Sacrifices
Wednesday, April 10, 2013 - 1:30pm

GCASL 4th Floor Chaplains’ Office Suite Lounge

The Book of Leviticus is filled with descriptions of animal sacrifices and meal offerings—ways of drawing near to the spiritual that carry little meaning for most of us today. What in your life motivates you to make sacrifices? How much of yourself can you offer before you’ve nothing left to give? Come and talk about what sacrifice means to you today as a member of the progressive Jewish community—and learn what our Jewish tradition might have to offer you.
Bring your appetite; bring your voice.
Part of our weekly Lunch Forward: A Progressive Discussion of Jewish Life. Facilitated by Bronfman Center Rabbinic Intern Nikki DeBlosi (deblosi@nyu.edu).
