Join the Bronfman Center for Simchat Torah! We'll dance (with torahs) and eat way too much food!

Wednesday, September 25th - Erev Shemini Atzeret (what's that?)

6:30 pm: Orthodox mincha followed by maariv at the Bronfman Center

7:45 pm: Student Dinner in the Weinstein Kosher Cafeteria

10:00 pm: Oneg desserts and tisch at the Bronfman Center

Thursday, September 26th - Shemini Atzeret Day/Erev Simchat Torah

9:15 am: Orthodox morning services at the Bronfman Center

11:30 am: Kiddush followed by shiur 

1:00 pm: Lunch at the Sarna home in Gramercy Green (310 Third Avenue, 2nd floor) Sign up here!

5:00 pm: Students are invited to meet at Bronfman to head to Brooklyn w/ Rabbi Nikki! Sign up here and check out the facebook event for more info!

6:30 pm:  Orthodox mincha followed by student dvar torah slam at the Bronfman Center

6:30 pm: Students are invited to join the Indie Minyan for a shmooze and then head to B'nai Jeshurun on the Upper West Side where we'll meet up with Bronfman staff and NYU Alumni (the Bronfman Alumni Association)! Email the Indie Minyan for more info and for the address of the shmooze! Check out the Facebook event, too!

7:15 pm: Orthodox maariv and hakafot (dancing with torahs)

8:00 pm: Smorgasbord at the Bronfman Center followed by continued hakafot

Friday, September 27th - Simchat Torah Day

9:15 am: Orthodox morning services and hakafot at the Bronfman Center. Deluxe kiddush served all morning!

2:00 pm: Lunch at Chabad House Bowery (353 Bowery)

10:30 am - Simchat Torah Women's ProgrammingWomen are invited to receive their own aliyot in a special women's reading of v'zot habrachah at this time. Student-led short shiurim will also be held at this time on topics relevant to the holiday.

6:30 pm: Shabbat Services begin (click link below for more info regarding shabbat)
