Three Communities, One Journey
The Bronfman Center for Jewish Student Life at NYU would like to invite you to an opening reception for Three Communities, One Journey, a student photography exhibition featuring work from participants of the Social Action Exchange. The reception will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 6:00 pm on the second floor of NYU's Kimmel Center, located at 60 Washington Square South. Light, kosher refreshments will be served.
In the Center’s first floor gallery and exhibition space, outstanding student artists showcase their work, host opening receptions, and organize educational workshops and guest speakers. The gallery, located on the first floor of the Bronfman Center, is a charming space in a historic brownstone, which is visited by hundreds of students and faculty members each month.
Notable past exhibits have included student photographs from Houston, Texas after Hurricane Katrina & a traveling exhibition of children’s drawings from Darfur in partnership with Human Rights Watch. Our space has received coverage the front page of the NY Times Art Section, ABC News, CNN International and News Hour.
