  • JLF: Life's Big Questions

You're in college. So, you're an adult now, right? Feel like you should have all the answers? JLF brings together a group of students trying to figure out how to be adults, and what place Jewishness has in all this. We'll ask and answer questions like, How do I make friends? What can I expect in a sexual relationship? How can I cope with conflict? What do I actually believe in? As in, Who do I want to become? Recommended for first-year students; open to all undergraduates who have not previously participated in JLF.

    Meets Tuesdays 5:30-7pm.

$250 stipend awarded upon completion of the course. Only eligible for first time fellows.

  • JLF: Sex, Love & Romance

Let's talk about sex, Jewishly. For many of us sexuality and intimacy are some of the issues that matter most but around which we receive the least guidance. We will aim to explore sexual ethics and the ever-elusive notion of intimacy in a way that honors our minds and bodies and respects our position as modern, thoughtful adults. Open to all undergraduates who have not previously participated in JLF.

    Meets Thursdays 5:30-7pm

First time fellows will receive $250 and JLF Alumni fellows will receive $100 upon completion of the course.

  • JLF: Pursuing Justice

What's Jewish about justice? For whom are we responsible? How might Jewish tradition reflect, uphold, or complicate how we see and do social justice? We will look to Jewish wisdom, text, and culture to see how it could guide us in pursuing justice for all.

    Meets Mondays from 5:30-7pm.

$250 stipend awarded upon completion of the course. Only eligible for first time fellows.

  • JLF: Wellness Learning Fellowship

Well-being is a topic that has been explored, considered, and pursued through Jewish text and tradition for millenia. In this series, we will explore Jewish ideas and approaches to well-being, developing our own directions and approaches to well-being within contemporary life. This class is for JLF alumni.

    Meets Wednesdays from 5:30-7pm.

First time fellows will receive $250 and JLF Alumni fellows will receive $100 upon completion of the course.

  • Shleimut

Shleimut is focused on creating community for Jewish students with disability and chronic illness and their allies. The course will feature a dive into disability in Jewish text, disability in contemporary Jewish thought, and an opportunity for accessible ritual creation.
